Oh man, this series combines two of my absolute favorite things, and in a way that works really well! I wonder how battles would work? Would they use their pokemon powers or stick to weapons? Or both?
Anyway, I hope you continue this sometime, but I understand priorities, too :]

We'll start to see how characters us their powers in a fight now that Lorrin & Amy are outside the abbey.
